What we publish, and what we never will

This policy explains what FlockRadar publishes and what it never publishes. It exists so the project stays accurate, defensible, and safe for everyone who contributes.

What we include

  1. Camera locations a government agency has officially published.
  2. Camera locations that appear in public records: council packets, contracts, policies, or agency maps.
  3. Public contracts and procurement records.
  4. Official announcements and meeting minutes, including council votes and press releases.
  5. Community tips we have confirmed against public records.
  6. Program-level records, like a city confirming it runs a Flock program, even when exact camera spots were never made public.

What we never include

  1. Live camera feeds or access to camera systems.
  2. Passwords, leaked material, or private datasets.
  3. Data that identifies a specific vehicle or plate.
  4. Camera locations guessed from sightings, photos, or rumors.
  5. Instructions to damage, disable, bypass, or interfere with cameras.
  6. The names, addresses, or personal details of the people who send us tips.

How to request a correction or removal

Use the correction form on this site, or email us through the contact link in the footer. We reply within 72 hours and finish the review within 14 days. Every added, updated, corrected, or removed record gets an entry in the public changelog.

  • Every record links to a public source you can check.
  • Every record carries a last verified date.
  • Community tips are leads, never instant facts.
  • No public disclosure located means we could not find a record. It never means no cameras exist.
